Support of the development of the social dimension
In anticipation of Inkluzijada International
Association of Students with Disabilities, a non-governmental, non-partisan, non-profit organization that fights for the realization and the respect for human rights and for equal opportunities of young people and students with disabilities by creating the conditions for inclusive formal and informal education and by implementing the social model is organising the project"Inkluzijada International 2015".The project has informative and educational caracter and is supported by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Office for Youth and cooperation with associations of the City of Belgrade. The idea is to exchange the best practices in supporting students and young people with handicap through various activities.The conference is being held in the Student resort "Radojka Lakic" at Avala from the 4th to the 7th of December 2015, and the final conference itself is being held on Monday, the 7h of December. The main aim of the conference is the creation of policies in the field of higher education and their implementation by decision makers in order to reduce social barriers in higher education and to improve the position of students and young people with disabilities in society and the academic community.
Participants from 12 European countries who contribute to the improvement of the status of students and young people with disabilities, representatives of three ministries of the Government of the Republic of Serbia are planned to participate on the conference, as well as other relevant individuals and organizations whose participation may contribute to the objectives of the conference. The participation of the Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development, Mr. Srdjan Verbić is currently confirmed.
